I’ve seen lovely wedding accessories on the Light in the box website but they are sooo cheap, maybe too cheap. Are they legitimate or is it a scam. Anyone had any experience with them as i am considering buying some accessories for my sister for her wedding.
My mom’s friend purchased her wedding dress from Light in the Box. It came within weeks of her ordering it and she said it fit perfectly according to her measurements!
She recommended I get my dress on there, but I opted for going to an actual bridal boutique. I didn’t know they sold accessories. I’ll have to check them out. She was really happy with everything they did for her recent wedding a few months ago. She’s older and wiser than I am. She’s 40-something, so I trust her judgment on these things.
EDIT: I just went to their site and spent 1/2 hr on there looking at their wedding favors. I liked the love-doves salt and pepper shakers! Also the Pizza slicer b/c my fiance and I are HUGE into pizza being born and raised in the Chicago-land area and all (There’s no beating Giordano’s Deep Dish.) The prices are spectacular and I am going to show my fiance tonight and probably buy our favors now b/c they are offering free shipping through Dec. 31st!!! Probably a 2010 gimmick, but I’ll bite! So much cheaper than paying for shipping of over 100 favors. Don’t you agree?

have you heard of watermelon salsa? sounds tasty!
fruit carving is very popular with watermelons, look into it.
for jewelery, look up "Watermelon Tourmaline" or "Watermelon Diamond"
they are both gorgeous gems
that is a SUPER hard color to find.
try looking up things that are pink or hot pink, they might be the color you are looking for.

you should buy the cheap things if you cant afford an expensive wedding. A big and expensive wedding doesn’t mean anything if you both aren’t happy. You can have a cheap wedding as long as you are both happy. You can buy cheap things and make your wedding look beautiful. you just have to be creative. you can buy cheap drinks at Walmart. you can buy any kind of drinks or champagnes as long as it tastes okay.
I have a wedding on saturday and i am wearing a cute red cocktail halter dress with black shoes. i was just wondering what color nail polish i should wear with it and what style/color of jewlery. Also the straps don’t come aroudn the neck they lay on the shoulders. how should i wear my hair? i have just below the shoulder length hair!

If the wedding is at night, then a cocktail dress would work. For daytime, you’d need something less flashy. Whatever you do, it is considered very bad form to outshine the bride.
As for your nails, I would get a French manicure. I think wearing your hair up in a tousled chignon with earrings that are somewhat dangly but not too much should be the only jewelry. Or you could wear your hair down and then wear a couple of shimmery bangle bracelets.
