What are some great inexpensive wedding favors?

Posted on January 27th, 2012 by admin

I want to buy some inexpensive wedding favors for the guest at my wedding.

You could purchase wedding favor boxes and fill them with candy. You could also give key chains, bookmarks, personalized chocolates or wine stoppers. http://www.CherishedGiftFavors.com has some really cute and affordable wedding favors. They even have coupons on their website that allows you to receive a discount on your wedding favors.

What are some affordable wedding favors?

My wedding is in 3 months, and I still don’t know what to do for my guest favors (the ones that has each person’s name and table #) What are some affordable wedding favor ideas that I can implement on my wedding? Thanks.

Many couples select wedding favors that tie into their wedding theme. If you don’t have a theme for your wedding you could select favors that cordinate with your wedding colors. The best favors are ones that guests can use over and over again such as bottle openers, wine bottle stoppers or yummy favors such as personalized lollipops, honey or hot cocoa they can enjoy once they get home from your wedding. http://www.CherishedGiftFavors.com has some affordable ideas for both personalized and nonpersonalized wedding favors.

How many wedding favors should we give out?

Posted on November 3rd, 2011 by admin

My fiance and I have come across so many cute wedding favors. It’s really hard to pick just one. Did anyone have more than one favor for their guests to take home? Did anyone do a gift bag? I’m also curious to see what favors you gave out. Thanks!

What kinds of favors are you considering?

Your best option will be to do edible favors, they are predictable for a reason: people like them.

Everyone already has enough:

shot glasses/mugs
golf tees (especially if you don’t golf)
calendar’s
candles/candle holders
hats
keychains
picture frames
drink coasters

All of which are usually personalized with the wedding anniversary of — someone else.

I have a massive collection of wedding favors in a box somewhere. There are very few I would actually use on a regular basis.

Favors that aren’t edible (or everyday useful) are often left behind at the wedding or tossed shortly after. Edible ones will be consumed.

One’s that I haven’t minded were christmas ornaments, cookie cutters, oven mits, etc. However I also bake a lot, many people do not.

Wanting to buy tree seeds for wedding favors?

Posted on September 26th, 2011 by admin

Okay so I’m giving out tree seeds as wedding favors, my question is (it is a Amur maple tree, if that will be of any help.) How many tree seeds will each favor need in order to successfully grow a tree? I know for plants it is usually 2-3 seeds per hole, but I did not know if trees were different.

As of right now I am planning to put 4 seeds per packet would a tree grow from just 4 seeds or do I need more?

In theory, each seed will produce a tree. Problem is you don’t know how old the seed is, how it was stored, etc. If me I’d plant all the seed, but not in the same hole. They’d be near each other so the final tree (hopefully) is in the correct spot. If all four make it, being apart from one another, you can often move the other three without damaging the one you want to keep. Planting 2-3 seeds in one hole gives you better odds on one making it and you can pinch off the others……not pull them least it destroys the one you want to save. Another way is to put one seed per pot and when they germinate, plant in appropriate location. Others can be given away or also planted.

How much for Mini Cakes for Wedding Favors?

Posted on July 20th, 2011 by admin

Does anyone know a really good but cheap place to get little mini cakes as wedding favors. I live in NY and only have a limited amount of $ for favors so if anyone can help me please find a place that would be greatly appreciated. If it is not in NY that is Okay too as long as they are less expensive. Thank you.

If you’re talking mini-cakes as opposed to cupcakes… they were too pricey for us. I got quotes in Michigan around $7-$9 each for mini cakes (vs. $1.25-$2.50 for cupcakes). It takes a lot of work to frost them all (whereas cupcakes are only frosted on top), so you’re paying for their time.

Call around to the bakeries, but unfortunately, I think you’ll find this is one of the more expensive favors. :(

Good luck!!

How many wedding favors do you usually give out?

I have a few ideas for wedding favors and I’m wondering how many people have given out for their weddings? Is there a usual number of favors that you give out?

You usually give at least one favor to each guest. Normally, the favor is placed on the tables where the guest will be seated. In addition, you may also opt for to other favors through out your wedding such as bubbles, bottled water, flip flops, and personalized trinkets.
