We are attending the wedding of a couple that is getting married sooner than expected due to a new arrival coming. They have been living together for a couple of years and really do not need knick knacks. I do not want to getting a baby type gift as this for them and the baby shower is later. We thought of cash as they will need that with all the changes coming into their lives, but I am not sure if that is still acceptable. If cash is OK, how much is appropriate? Any other ideas?

I have a friend that is getting married soon. He and his bride to be have not registered at any place and haven’t been real forthcoming with gift ideas. This is really the first wedding I would be buying a gift for and need some good ideas.

My sister got the Kama Sutra for her wedding. There was no "from" label on it. You could order a book like that from amazon and make up the name portion.

some candles, picture frames or photo albums. and money is never bad.. see if they registered somewhere. that way they get whet they need.

One of my really good friends is going to jamaica to get married. Her wedding shower is appoaching, and I want to stay away from the "traditional" wedding shower gift- I hate wedding/baby showers, they are stupid- anyway- Got any good ideas that I can get her, that either she can use while in Jamaica or something that will remind her of getting married on the beach?!

We are getting married next weekend (6/30), and I cannot come up with a good gift to give him at the wedding… Something under $100 (possibly $150 for a really good gift). I’ve considered a nice tool set, an accessory box with our wedding date on it, and a watch, but I would like some more ideas!
