I am getting married this june and I’m trying to come up with easy appetizers for my guests. It is going to be a fairly informal wedding and a stationary appetizer table. I already decided on scallops in bacon, shrimp, fruits, veggies and cheese and crackers, but im not sure what else to use for appetizers, What are some easy and fairly cheap ones? I am making my own food for the wedding so that is why the easier the better thanks!
You are right on with your food items. Just avoid anything with dips and sauces because they are not so easy to eat and are so drippy on the table and on people’s clothing, making a mess. Besides, you do not want half broken off pieces of food in the dip as that is very unappetizing as well as unsanitary with people’s fingers in there, too.
A good way to serve fruits is in toothpick kabob form, sprinkled with lemon confectioners sugar. Perhaps salted nuts, as well. If you can, get a cheese wheel. They look great and stay fresh longer than sliced cheeses. Olives go very well with cheese and crackers, too.
The best parties I have been to have the refreshments and the food on opposite ends of the reception. This forces people to mingle and makes for a better social occasion where the crowd moves around, preventing a stale party.
You may want to Google: "One bite appetizers". These are the best because they are easy to eat and display well.
gift experience, they do everything from wedding stationary and wedding gifts, i got all mine from here.
Im getting married and i want to create my own wedding stationary! I have my images but i cannot find any cards, envelopes or inserts or even place cards which are blank. Please only suggest suppliers from the UK.
Thanks ![]()
Any large stationery store should have a selection of what you are looking for.
I am currently looking for detailed sales figures relating to wedding stationary sales in the uk, for example, how much people spend, where they purchase it and who are the leading retailers.
Any ideas would be great thanks.
Here there are good sites on business http://topfin3.notlong.com/4AAqLXQ
Hey,
I am planning my wedding and I was wondering if anyone has any ideas/experience with companies that provide wedding services for a good price. I’m particularly interested in cars, flowers, cakes and stationary?
All ideas would be more than welcome!
Thanks!

I’m getting married in May. My fiance and I are looking at wedding invitations. We live in a small city with a very small selection of DIY invitation kits. There are no stationary shops locally. Is there any good websites to go to for purchasing invitations. I want something with a wide selection. I would prefer a place that would print them too. I’m only beginning with this. I’m already getting stressed. Thanks to all that reply.

I’m planning a wedding on a budget and I want to put together my own invitations. I’ve seen stationary stalls at markets where you’d buy so many blank coloured cards and then you’d attach to them these see-through paper sheets with ribbon and the addresses and info you would print on these see-through sheets.
I don’t want them ready printed because I’m going to have to have them in two different languages and I reckon the printing is a big part of the cost.
I really want to print them out at home or at my friends store, and then assemble them at home.
I just need a good online store to buy all the blank cards and those see-through sheet things and the envelopes. Can’t go to the markets, live in a really small town now.

A lot of the time at wedding receptions, the whole reason for getting everyone together is overlooked! I want my wedding guests to know how my fiance and I met, and the story of our love! I’m trying to think of a unique way to tell everyone! I’m not into making speeches, but I was thinking of maybe typing up a cute story on stationary and leaving one at each place setting? I don’t know! Does anyone else have any unique ideas to help our guests get to know us and our story a little better?! Thanks!!
You could do it with pictures, if you’ve got them available.
Or – to promote mingling at your wedding – take your idea of typing up the story, but put pieces of it at different places at the reception. That way anyone who wants to know the whole story has to get up and look around. If they get up, they’ll meet the people who are special to you and that’s continue your special story.
