I had some old cardboard spools laying around the house. I decided to turn them into a little wedding cake replica. All you need is cardboard spools, paint, sparkly glue, paper flowers, little decorative pearls, q tips or straws, decoupage glue, paper glue, and hot glue. This would be great for weddings. This can even be changed and used for birthdays or holidays. It was very easy to make and very inexpensive also.

Some great ideas for wedding favors – when I am thinking about wedding favors, is how can I be multifunctional? How can I give away something as a keepsake but also be functional at the wedding. So one great idea I have is to do use an espresso cup. Espresso cup, have your name printed, and the date that you are getting married. Having a foam option where you can put a skewer, perhaps, so that you can hang a flag on the side where it identifies the guests name, their first and last name, and then where they are sitting.

This acts as a multifunctional where they know where they are sitting and they also get it as a keepsake. Another way to bring in a favor or a keepsake for the wedding is by maybe a recipe. Maybe your mother, grandmother, or your grandfather made something that was really special that you grew up with and that you really loved. Maybe syrup or jam. You can create it and then put them in jars and then label them with your wedding date, again, and your name, and give it away.
