Make a dramatic style statement with elegant bridal centerpieces. In this video, Pottery Barn floral designer Nico De Swert shows us how to make beautiful bridal centerpieces. He makes the first centerpiece using a clear square base pillar holder from Pottery Barn. To do that he first places floral foam at the base of the pillar holder. In the next step, he picks some flowers and skewers them into the floral foam and arranges them to create a sunburst pattern.
For an inexpensive floral base Nico suggest the use of Pottery Barn Bosphorus Bowls. Nico weaves a mat out of tropical leaves and lines the inside of the vase. Then he uses a bouquet of baby’s breath florals to fill the vase. In order to make a bold centerpiece, Nico places the Pottery Barn Bosphorus Bowl inside a large Hourglass Hurricane Sleeve from the Pottery Barn candleholder collection for a perfect visual treat.
Nico’s last bridal centerpiece consists of a 27-inch high Voluminous Canister from Pottery Barn. To create this pretty floral centerpiece, he arranges spider-chrysanthemums with ribbon accents and pours in some water into the canister to keep the bouquet fresh.
